We have created a diverse team of board members. Each person’s contribution to the cause is valued and needed to accomplish our goals.
How to make it count
We Dreamt it
It begins with a desire and a dream. From there, comes the work. In order to make a dream come true, we need people who want to make a difference in any way they can. And then we take it to the streets, of La Gonave , and show the community we support their children’s education, and the mother’s who we create jobs for, in order to contribute to their funds.
We’re Building it
We are working within the community schools to assist families with tuition funds. The next step is to build communities to work with each other, support each other, in order to grow better education situations for their children. The next project will be to have our own school, free of charge, for the children who do attend school as of today.
Now we’re growing it
It started with the support for one student. From one we supported 4 more, then 6, and now, we support the tuition, books and uniforms of 22 students. We are proud of that. We would like it to be all the children who cannot afford school, to have a sponsor to help. Our next phase of growth is the Women’s Work Co-Op. Where we will work with the mother’s to make products to sell here in the States, in order to assist in their children’s tuition. That is empowering.
